The 28th EuroWest Model Train Show! Multiple operating European model train layouts, clinics, lectures, fun contests for young and old, sales tables, children's activities, and raffle prizes.

A beloved annual Japanese Buddhist festival! Food booths, bingo, taiko drumming, plus Obon Odori traditional dancing at 7:30 PM. Complimentary shuttles available.

The Bay Area's largest outdoor fitness and wellness festival! 50+ brands, live DJ, massages, red light therapy, cupping, assisted stretches, cryotherapy, sound bowl healing, and 10 signature workouts from top Bay Area studios.

Inspired by the beloved novella, youth performers ages 12–16 bring The Little Prince to life with circus, acrobatics, juggling, aerial arts, dance, and storytelling. Arrive early for best seating.

The world-famous Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo — featuring bareback riding, bull riding, bull dogging, tie-down roping, barrel racing, team roping, and more. A celebration of Black cowboy and cowgirl heritage!

Actors Ensemble's 70th year presents Alice in Wonderland in the beautiful stone amphitheater! Bring blankets, pillows, or low lawn chairs. Runs Saturdays and Sundays through July 19.

Saturday, July 11

A guided family canoe through the Bair Island wetlands — spot local birds and plants, enjoy a picnic lunch from your canoe, and help with a brief creek cleanup. All equipment provided, no experience needed.

Live animal and raptor presentation from WERC, hands-on art, live music, three hike options for all abilities, and a community BBQ under the redwoods. Stroller-friendly options available!

Guided garden tours, scavenger hunts, education stations with the San Mateo County Astronomical Society, make a suncatcher to take home, and a visit to Elizabeth's historic house.

An interactive workshop on coast redwoods followed by a guided nature walk through the redwood trails — exploring bark, cones, and the layers of life in the understory. General museum admission included with ticket!

A special Saturday storytime with librarian Anjali featuring stories, wiggles, and songs celebrating summer! Followed by Stay and Play for open-ended exploration.

Rabbit Hole Theater performs beneath Filoli's towering Redwoods in this whimsical outdoor show — music, puppetry, and unexpected delights as Miss Jasmine Tea brings her enchanted birthday celebration to life. A magical setting for a magical show!

Live bluegrass from Wildcat Mountain Ramblers, cold local brews on tap, food trucks, cornhole, and an inflatable British-style pub. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and bonus! Magical Bridge Playground is right next door.

Teacher Bill, author of Signs of A Happy Baby, integrates American Sign Language into songs and storytime — learn to sign Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Goodnight Moon! Fun for parents, caregivers, and little ones together.

Bring a plant or cutting and take a plant or cutting! New to the area with nothing to swap? Stop by at 3:30 PM — there's usually an abundance to share.

Interactive games, a lively performance by Andy Z, and a soccer-themed community art wall. Free all-day parking on the 2nd floor of the garage and above.

Sunday, July 12

Tour the Folger Estate Stable Historic District — the main stable, Carriage House, Chinese-built stone walls, blacksmith barn, and newly restored dairy house. A fascinating trip back to the agricultural heritage of the Folger Coffee Company era.

Inspired by Alexander Calder's love of the circus, make your own bendable wire circus animals! Includes drop-in art making, book raffle, block play, and children's books to browse. Free for all — no museum admission needed for the Family Studio.

Build and program robots using LEGO Spike Kits in individual and team challenges. Arrive by 12:45 PM — limited to 14 participants, first come first served.

A high-energy live experience combining colorful Lucha Libre wrestling and storytelling — heroes read stories, teach positive values, and turn literacy into an unforgettable outdoor adventure! Bring sunscreen and water. No registration required. Held in the meadow at Leo J Ryan Park (across the street from Foster City Library).

Learn to code in the Makerspace! All ages and experience levels welcome. Children under 10 need a parent present. No registration required.
