🍝 No-Fail Pizza Pasta: High-Protein, Veggie-Packed
This delicious + forgiving recipe has great pizza flavor and sneaks in tons of vegetables. Pair it with this amazing(!) high-protein pasta for an easy weeknight meal. We used to be team Brami but have switched!
The secret: Use Rao's sauce and grate the zucchini so it disappears into the dish. Everything else is flexible—skip the Italian seasoning (I’ve even swapped in ranch or Mexican oregano) or leave out herbs entirely, add in extra zucchini, swap the cheese, stir everything in one big pan, etc. Short on time? Skip the bake and cook stovetop, or chop instead of grating the zucchini. Bake directly in glass Tupperware for easy storage.
Costco staples: Zucchini, cottage cheese, Rao's, and ground meat. Order the protein noodles from Amazon.
Boost it: Stir in 2 raw eggs while cooking/before baking or cooked lentils for extra protein.
Kids love it (ours cheer when it's on the menu), and it freezes well. Use leftover cottage cheese and zucchini for this deliciously healthy breakfast casserole.
